Re: Welcome to the New NEHERS Forum

Thanks John, This will be a great opportunity for new and "old" raters to get some peer review on issues specific to the HERs community or get a procedural question answered that may be too difficult to navigate through the numerous standards, amendments and codes. We will do our best to stay active, responsive and accurate.

Re: Welcome to the New NEHERS Forum

Great question, you can order the NEHERs manual directly from this sight by clicking above on "store", the John Krigger book, residential energy is also available.

Re: Welcome to the New NEHERS Forum

I think this is a great idea! I was just on the NEHERS site and I could not find a functioning link to the Quarterly Utility Cost Inputs? We need a standard cost input to use now with the use of the new Resnet QA review checklist, if you have numbers above average it will cost you up to 8 points on the pass/fail threshold of 79. I would hope that our providers would also agree on the cost number and keep us current on the correct rates. I know the number's from my actual utility bill were out of range and cost me 8 points, do I now have to include a copy of utility bill in my rating documentation if out of range?

Glad to see so activity on the forum, Yes ICF, ERM and NEHERS are currently working on a regional consistent utility rate calculator. I will reach back out to both of you with more info ASAP.

Re: Welcome to the New NEHERS Forum

NEHERS is modifying the format of this information via the link in the Members corner. I will ask Betsy to email out to all members when the report is functional again.
