EAM Associates, a high-performance construction consulting firm offers a full array of building science, and energy efficiency consulting services. We’ve been guiding clients through the energy codes and green building process since 1993. Our team of engineers, green building program experts, and MEP design specialists deliver critical input on the design and construction of high-performance buildings. We help our clients navigate through all stages of construction, attain maximum environmental performance within their budget, and qualify for eligible green building certifications such as Energy Star and LEED for Homes.
We have a full-time opening for a residential field inspector/energy efficiency consultant, preferably with a background in construction or HVAC. Ideal candidates will have the ability to learn, possess good math, computer, and communication skills, and be able to integrate with our team. Industry certifications such as those from BPI, RESNET, LEED, or NATE would be very well regarded; however, we will provide all necessary training and certifications to the successful candidate.
This position requires a reliable late model vehicle. EAM’s office is based in Wall NJ, but the successful candidate will also be traveling to project sites across the area in addition to their office work. Applicants must also have the ability and willingness to carry diagnostic equipment up to 40 lbs. We offer a great work environment and the opportunity to grow with our company.
